Just like people, not all dogs are the same. Here’s a book with great tips on keeping your “special” dog healthy, well up into his or her senior years. Everything from proper diet to the best exercise. Every dog owner should own this book. Great job!

  2. Just Me Says:

This book helps to learn how to care and lengthen a senior dogs life and bring more comfort to his golden years. It informs about the canine aging process and how the older dog needs special care and even a lifestyle change. Dog is man’s best friend, but when the dog ages it becomes as needy as an old human.

It’s a great read which will help me and my old friend. My dog will need a special diet, aids in walking, and a new lifestyle to fit the body and mind of a senior canine. I have to adjust also. Getting up the stairs may be hard for my dog or just the simple act of keeping up with me during a walk. The book teached me how to help with hip problems and other geriatric ailments that hinder their movements.

    5 stars from me!

I have two Shih Tzus and one of them is 9 years old. He sometimes acts like a puppy but sometimes he really shows his age. He can’t jump onto the couch and bed like he used to. I want to be prepared for when his eye sight dims and his hips aren’t as agile. This book offers some good tips on taking care of my aging canine buddies. This is a good book to have on the shelf, ready for when each new challenge presents itself.

  5. Old Dog's Pal Says:

This is a very informative book for anyone that has an older dog and wants to know how to care for their old pal. It is written in an easy to understand style and also you can tell that the author really cares about dogs.

I found it to be very helpful when trying to learn the best diet for an older dog and alternative ways to treat him when he is sick. Kudos.
