Thank you for sharing.. Though I do NOT agree that this can be done in 24 hours. Taking your puppy out after everything they do definately is the way to go. Be patient and watchful and soon your Pup will know what you want of him.

i just got my puppy and im wondering how to make her pee outside when im sleeping

My 4 year old Shih-Tzu dog has an infection in his left ear which has somehow caused him to pee and poop more often then he used to. It’s like: When I wake up,I find that he’s peed in the corridor or pooped in a bedroom which annoys me so then I take him out. I normally go for a walk with him up and down the street about 3-5 times so he can go. That really helps.

Triamatria she is probably distracted, find a calmer place, and also if she doesnt pee she goes straight back into her crate dont give her a chance to pee indoors
10. November 2009 at 01:29
well i learned that if you have punished your dog in the past for peeing inside that the dog will think that you will get mad when it pees outside/inside so when your not looking it realizes it has a chance to pee

if she/he pees in the same spot you should super clean the spot , make sure all the odor from the pee/poop is gone then repeat then do what you are doing
10. November 2009 at 02:20
some might consider beat the crap out of him for that lol..
but if u dont want that then u should try soak up his pee with paper towels and pick up his poo, then just leave them out in the yard. wait about 20 minutes after he eats and drinks then take him outside and just wait for it. keep doing that and it should help.

a puppy can only hold the pee for so long, so just wait outside until she pees, then make sure give her a treat after she does it. also, taking her out for walks too many times isnt helping also because that way she can always hold her pee until she’s back in the house. good luck

i take my puppy for walks about 15 times a day, each walk lasting 10-15 minutes. She doesn’t pee outside, but the moment she gets inside the house she instantly pees on the floor. What should i do?

she kinda explained the obvious.

Very helpful. My first puppy was house broken in 2 days so yes it can be done in a short time. This time i am getting a male puppy and dont know where to start. I have another dog 4yrs old Golden Retriever and hoping housetraining will be easy with new puppy.

you need to clean the area that he pees on really good he smells the pee and goes back to the same spot
10. November 2009 at 05:25
Hey,
One way is to show them the door to go outside is and then make him/her follow a treat. Once you are outside it gets a little embaressing. You need to lift up your leg like a dog pees and you need to jump around in a circle. In a few seconds the dog will catch on a pee outside. If it doesnt work I’m sorry but I tryed.

One way is:
you can fill him up with food and then put him where you want him to pee/poo, when he pees give him a treat and praise him, when ever you see him pee/poo, let him finish and then take him and hit his nose, not so badly, then imediately take him to potty place when he pees praise him. Another way is when he poos, take it and put it on the potty place and then he will automaticly go to pee there. cause dogs smell the floor looking for somewhere where the poop is and then poop

We do try to house break him and we try and try but he keeps on peeing He even peed right infront of me looking at him.
Is there a method to stop him from peeing
Iwant him to be able to be able to roam the house without me watching him
