Purchase a crate/cage and place her in it at night until she “gets the message”

obviously she’s not trained enough.why don’t you put her in the dog house OUTSIDE, so she cant’ get in the house and poo and pee. Ask a vet, why are you asking ppl here?

crate training is wonderful. all 3 of my dogs sleep in the crate and they know its their bedroom.
even without it, they are used to holding it overnight after being crate trained.
warning, your dog will cry for a week getting used to it.
so you’ll think its mean but after that they love being in their own spot.

Well, you can put her in a kennel at night. But at two, she will most likely give you a lot of problems with this. You will probably have some sleepless nights. Kennel training needs to be done from the beginning with puppies. So… Try feeding her early in the day. Make sure she has her last drink about 1/2 hour before you take her out for the last time at night. When you find in the morning that she has messed overnight, make sure you let her know that you are NOT happy with her. Most dogs by two years are very aware of the sound of your voice and the differences in your tones. So if you show how disappointed you are without yelling, then she may get the Idea. Is she allowed to sleep in the room with you? Does she want to? This could be a “payback” on her part. Are you sure that she is doing this at night and not Early Early in the morning? She may not be able to “hold” it until you get up. I am not sure how late you sleep. But try to change her feeding schedule and see if that helps. Good luck to you.

Buy a dog crate, large enough for her to stand up and turn around in. Take her out before you go to bed and then put her into her crate with a treat, dogs will rarely do the toilet where thet sleep and at 2years of age she is able to hold onto it till morning. This could be a habit that has developed over time, is she was just wetting then I would suggest getting a urine sample tested by the vet bit as she is doing both it is possibly her objecting to being left alone at night , hope this helps.

It sounds as though she hasn’t learned that the house is ‘off-limits’ as a potty spot! It’s not that she couldn’t ‘hold it’, it’s more that she doesn’t realize she should.
There’s no point in telling her off after the fact, she’ll have no idea what she did wrong. To show her it’s not acceptable you need to catch her in the act and then tell her “No”. Since you say she’s well trained otherwise she will understand the correction if given at the right time.
However, that doesn’t mean she won’t do it again. Dogs are creatures of habit, they learn by repetition and this habit has to be broken. Also, she’ll smell her own scent from the areas she’s been using as her ‘toilet’ and that will encourage her to go there again. When you clean the carpet/floor you need to be sure to use an enzymatic cleaner such as Nature’s Miracle, to remove all traces of odor. She’ll smell it otherwise, even if you don’t!
In order to break this bad habit, I’d really strongly suggest you invest in a crate and use it! If she’s not been crated before, she may well complain and take a while to adjust, but she will get used to it. With a 2 year old dog, there’s no problem with her bladder/bowel control (as long as you’ve had the vet. give her a thorough check and rule out any physical problems such as a bladder infection, muscle weakness etc.).
Follow her normal routine during the day and continue to let her out to relieve herself before bedtime, then put her in her crate with her blanket/favorite sturdy toy etc. and leave her for the night. Do let her outside first thing in the morning though, so she can empty her bladder/bowels.
Before you let her spend the whole night in the crate, give her a few days of shorter, ‘practice’ sessions so that she feels more comfortable with it. M ake sure the crate you buy isn’t so large that she can have room to sleep and room to ‘potty’, but it has to be big enough for her to stand up, lie down, sit, and turn around without touching the sides.
If you use the crate for a couple of months at night time, she will most likely get into the habit or relieving herself outside first thing in the morning. Then, you can try leaving her in a room overnight (say a laundry room or similar) but not in the crate and see if she waits to go outside in the morning.
There’s not a problem crating her every night though if you find that works better. As long as she has lots of free time and one on one attention during the day she’ll be fine.
You can find lots of info. on crate training at the url below. Best of luck!

You could try going out with her last thing at night and wait until she performs then praise her and tell her what a good girl she is and give her a little treat if she does what you ask of her. She’ll soon get the message if you do this every night.
It’s no use expecting her to go outside on her own. She will not know why she has been sent out of the house unless you teach her.
She is probably not outside long enough to do all her bodily functions.
Maybe a walk last thing at night before she goes to bed might do the trick.
