Can anyone in the Los Angeles/Orange County area foster a bottle-baby puppy?

Dog Care

Downey shelter was on the rampage the other day and they were euthanizing all puppies and pregnant dogs. So I rescued a couple of litters. I ended up with one bottle baby. Mama was a chi papilon mix. They said they would put mama up for adoption if someone would take the pup. So I did. But the problem is I am not home enough for the next couple of weeks to take care of it.

Do you know anyone who would be interested in bottle feeding?

It is just one pup so that makes it easier and you can carry it around with you. the first 3 weeks the pups dont really do much but eat and sleep. But the first 10-14 days they need to be fed about every 3 hours. So we need someone who has a flexible schedule. When they are 3 weeks old and their eyes are open they start mush so no more bottle!

It is for short commitment. The pup can go to another foster home once they can eat on their own, maybe even join some other pups.

Should add that it’s a chi/papillion mix

Message me with details and your contact info and I’ll pass them on to my brother, he lives in LA, loves dogs and may be willing to do it. It’s possible that he may even want to adopt the puppy permanently.
